Question Questions on OEM Parts...

I am looking to order new front spoiler (the black plastic piece) but there are two part numbers... According to Porsche catalog there is a regular part and a black part. What's the difference? I thought all cars came with black front spoiler.

"991 505 525 80" - regular front spoiler? for unpainted?
"991 505 525 80 OK1" - black front spoiler?

Appreciate your insight! Thx!

What year is your car? Have you looked on Sun Coast? They break it down pretty well. See links below.
991.2 Parts
991.1 Parts

991.2 GT3. I not looking for “order this”. I am looking for what is the difference between those two parts, if any.

There's only one part available because you can only have it in one color - black.

The full part number with color code is the only valid part you can order. 991 505 525 80 OK1

When there are different colors available the main part number would be 991 505 525 80 and then the 3 digit color code at the end of the part number to select the color.

Here's an example looking at a steering wheel for a 718. You have the parent part number 9P1 419 091 EJ, and then all the part numbers with the color codes for each color available. Only those part numbers are order able. If there's a primed part, those have a color code of GRV.

One of them is designed to be painted.
