Delivery Advice?

Delivery Advice?
Hey guys, I'm taking delivery of my '19 GT3 on Saturday and btw this is also my first Porsche. The dealership is out of state so I'm flying up and driving the car back home the same day...about 350 miles. Any pointers I should take note of before delivery? Any checklist your recommend? I guess they can ship any item which may be forgotten but would rather deal with it in person before I drive the car back. Thanks!

Burning Brakes
Congrats! MY19? When was your build date?
I’m going to have them exchange out the amber side markers for clear and also remove the center head rest pad on the bucketswhen mine arrives.

Maybe bring some painters tapes for the front end to prevent road rash or rock chips on the drive home.
Full tank of gas
key chain
clear led markers
license plate frame
Otherise, congrats and safe travels.

Tell them to make it so it does not chirp when unlocking:locking.
Ask for all stickers renoved to save. Ask for white seat covers and steering wheel cover so you can use them later.

Yes, MY19. I haven't seen the placard yet but I'm guessing Feb 2019. Ordered in December '18 and it arrived at the dealership last week.

350 down.
1,650 to go.
Then 9,000 rpm.
Enjoy your trip! Congrats on the GT3. Hell of a way to start.

In any event, my local cars and coffee is less than a mile from my house. Need to find long drives to stretch her legs!

Pretty sure my manual says the break in for my ‘19 GT3 is 1,000 miles, during which time you keep it under 7,000rpm.

Congrats, love the idea of a pickup mini road trip. Where are you located? Hope you can find some fun roads and not all highway driving. Can’t wait to see pictures. Don’t think much can go wrong at delivery, just enjoy it.

Order TrakkTape off of Amazon; fabricate temporary PPF
Check front springs for the green shipping spacers (remove if found)
Verify centerlock socket, pry tool, air pump, etc are all located in frunk
Select Car on center console computer and check max speed to see if the dealer enjoyed it a bit before your arrival; reset all speed/trip computers to 0
Have dealer laminate window sticker for you

Looks like the GTR will get bumped to the lift as I'll want to be done with the break-in miles soon!
