A couple of grams here and there and soon you are with a 50kg advantage.
Check regs, see what it isn't specified and try to edge on those. You will feel like a race Team and engineering manager as well as a racing driver all in 1.
The main spec looking back at me was the 400 pound weight difference between the CS and the Cup. I have asked PMNA what other MR parts might be available, not knowing the full scope of how the CS is configured, so that if there are more CF or hemp=like products as on my 718, such as doors, fenders, etc, or suspension parts as on my street version, then knowing that the car is not presently homologated by any particular series, maybe some MR mods will be offered once it is. More aero or upgraded suspension like the R would be great with the extra 150 h.p. available, but I know that PMNA likes to have clear distinctions between their products, and don't want to blur the line overtly.

Very little is forthcoming from PMNA until all the allocations are gone, and I completely understand, but was hoping to get feedback from some of the lap times by Works drivers and delta comparisons, even if it came with an NDA.

From my sources who have tested the car, it's 2-3 seconds a lot slower than the GT3R at Monza but hits 300kph!! WOW.

FYI GUYS....Had a 3 hour meeting with PMNA last week and a major portion of the meeting was discussing the GT2RS CS.
The plan is for the SRO to have a bronze only driver classification in the GT2 class with 5-6 stand alone races during the 2020 SRO season.
Plus, Porsche Trophy West will also have a class for the GT2RS CS, so now you have a Pro/Am series as well as an AM series to run the car in.
Not to mention, NASA, PCA, POC and IGT.

More to come.....

Thanks for the update James. I will still work on my racer friends who are looking for a class to run next year. Looks to be an amazing race car.

LATEST UPDATE FROM PMNA! In addition to this car being eligible for the new SRO GT2 Class (Bronze only drivers!), you will now be able to race this in the U.S. based Porsche Trophy USA for 2020!

What James said echoes my understanding. Factory is pushing hard to create various regional brand-specific series with a vague, multi-class ladder. The spirit is inclusion and not outright competition, with emphasis on Am participation and the ability for all sorts of contemporary/near-contemporary racecars to participate.

Specific implementation varies from region to region but the overall direction is pretty clear. Good or bad? It may encroach upon the various club series with PCA and POC in N. America. In Europe and Asia it'll be less of an issue since there's less of an establishment...

They come in white with exposed carbon on the roof, hood and rear deckled only.......but all those liveries can easily be duplicated.

Can't wait to see them.

Does anybody know how many are going to US buyers? Assume all have been sold a long time ago so should be known.
