My GT3 was $183k or so (not even PTS), seems like a bargain compared to my RS lol.

If I'm spending that kind of money it's going to be a decent spec, and an extra $30-40k isn't going to make me lose sleep at night.
that mentality got me in trouble with a different marque but I agree, if you are already playing in this price range I wouldn't skimp out too much

i'm not knocking your spec. sounds very nice. i'm just agreeing with tstafford that it's on the higher end.

What is a "normal" spec RS priced at, and what options does that include?

$190-235k for Non WP GT3RS
$210-265k with Weissach Pkg.

Thats basically my car w/o WP which I didn’t care for and added nothing performance wise. As to decent paint it’s all the same except colors PAG draws straws on year to year as to what’s optional or standard for the extra schtup cause you like it better.

Also not everyone here is a big swinging dick money wise. To some working up to afford a $200k car is a life long task and the choice in spending between some option is a real consideration. To others it’s not an issue.

One thing that makes these cars really unique (despite some detractors saying they all look alike) interesting and cool is the fact you likely will never see two exactly alike in view of the gazillion ways they can be configured.

My ‘19 GT3 was 155. My RS was 195. Most options don’t add value. If you like it add it. I tend to keep these cars 3 years. Most options don’t add to my enjoyment of the car. YMMV.

Personally I can’t stand seeing plastic if I’m spending $200k+ on a weekend street car. Next comes exposed CF and growing up in the 90’s the options seem like a bargain from the factory, especially from Porsche. I wouldn’t trade my $251k build for a stripper and $100k cash.

Worst dealer I have ever stepped foot in. They recently made some sales team management changes to improve the situation and I hope it has changed. Years ago they sent me a letter saying I was no longer welcome in their store because I didn't buy a car from them. AND that I should pay them for the time they spent showing me a car and taking it for a test drive. Classy.

I would have sent a copy of that letter to PAG NA and copied the dealer on the forwarding.
