All - We are sorry to give the impression that we weren’t being responsive, we communicated via PM with aaa335 to clarify the details of his question.

For the benefit of all, there are mainly two differences between houndstooth and Pepita:
1) The patterns are slightly different. Our website shows both fabrics, and you will notice the Pepita has “slashes” for lack of a better description in the pattern that differentiates it from the houndstooth. The Pepita is a replica of a Porsche-sourced fabric from a few decades ago.
2) The fabric is different. Pepita is typically 80%+ wool, where the more modern houndstooth fabrics are typically mostly polyester. Naturally, the wool fabric is less “tidy” from a thread perspective as compared to the polyester. This is noticeable when looking very closely at the fabric.

Going forward we will reply to all posts for the benefit of all.

We are only producing inserts for the carbon fiber seats (996, 997, and 991 LWB). We currently do not offer seat inserts for 18- way seats.

Hi Patrick,

Yes, we do have the black/red/white Pepita in stock. You can either order from our website, or we can arrange to email you a PayPal invoice showing the details of your order. Please PM me your preference or call with any questions (214) 304-0783. Thank you! Kim

Are there instructions posted anywhere or can someone chime in regarding the installation process? Thanks!

Hi 1809 - The seat insert installation process is quite simple for the LWB seats. Your originals (seat and back) are Velcro’d in place - the bottom part of each seat has welting attached to the front part of the cover, which is also part of our product. Once you pull your seats out and detach the welting from the lip of the front of the seat, you just reattach the new welting, then push the seat cushion into place. The back cushion is solely attached by Velcro.
