when I was running my '10 Cupcar we had all the data from the motec system - we tried Motul in the car and the data clearly showed lower engine temps after races - by a significant amount - even after hard racing during summer at Thunderhill - once I saw the temperature data and compared it to previous known temps I was convinced - ever since then I run motul in all my Porsches.
just did an oil change in the '18 GT3 - Motul 300V 0w40 - so far the car is running great - did the same right after purchase - will be sending oil out for analysis and happy to report results back here.

I think the 300V is a superior product, but be aware that this is not A40 approved, so you would risk engine warranty if a big issue (if Porsche could make a case that it's related to the failure)...

Yep. Went to 0W40 on my last oil change for the winter months. Will change back to 5W50 in April or May. Nothing wrong with a rotation if you do live in colder climates.
