Default Is my dealer fxxxxxg with me?

Bought a couple of Porsche form my local dealer before, and been on the GT3 waiting list since July 2017. Contacted my sales rep 3 months ago, was told I am the next one on the list, and she will contact me as soon as they receive allocation. Didn't hear from her since, then this morning, I called her, asked her where is the my allocation since the dealer should already received their allocations last month, she told me Porsche doesn't make 991.2 GT3 anymore, that's why they have nothing. Did she tell the truth or she was lying? I don't mind to pay reasonable ADM if she ask, but I don't want to waste my time to deal with a liar

They are still making Porsche GT3s until January. But all allocations have been given - no more are coming.

depends on size of the dealer, if its a tiny dealer then perhaps she is right, they didn't get anymore. My dealer is tiny, they got 2 GT3 allocations- that's it for the entire 991.2 GT3 run.

Houston dealers suck. North Houston was decent before they were bought. The 2 sonic ones are plain awful. There's a certain monopoly between the two groups. Trade in and sell prices are quite lined up there.

This is from own experience. Once one of these dealers revealed how much I paid for a 911 to another dealer as I was trying to trade it in. This dealer then openly used it as a tool to further decrease my trade in value. I told them to go pound sand. When the 991 came out they wanted 2k ADM on cars on the lot. Bc both groups did it, you had no option in the city.

Translating dealer-speak, what she probably meant was that there are no more allocations available. If you do not have an allocation by now, then it's true that for you Porsche is no longer making GT3s. She's not lying. Makes sense?

I expect GT3, 3RS, 2RS, and Speedster will be built through Q1. I have not seen any allocations with production beyond March but it is possible PAG could continue 991GT into Q2.

How do you know if are next on the "list"? Do not believe what you hear unless you have something in hard writing. However as a current buyer, you are at an advantage as there are literally a handful of GT3 for sale. You get to pick and choose, probably end up with a better deal than getting an allocation at this point. Good luck.

Which dealer? I doubt you will find an allocation unless you are willing to pay a fat adm. North Houston has like 10 "slightly used" gt3s from guys here on rennlist... Momentum told me they had a gt3 touring this week that sold in a day and they just sold a gt3 rs the other day. So there are cars around the city. I could be talked out of my gt3t for the right price lol

Porsche West Houston.
I just contacted Porsche momentum Houston this morning, Got on the waiting list, made a $2500 non refundable down payment for a GT3RS allocation. Hopefully I'm not gonna get screwed this time.

did they say they have an allocation, what adm? Will be very telling if more allocations come out and what production date they’ll have. Did they give you an estimated date at all?
