Bay area clear bra installer
My GT3 is arriving soon. Dealership contracts with Johnson Lin for clear bra/PPF. Anyone have experience with his work?
I have done clear bra with Kris Ong at Myko Designs and window tint with Premier in Fremont, and both do great work.
But there is definitely a convenience to have it all done when picking the car up. The cost is less (for comparable material, eg Suntek) than the other installers I mentioned, so makes me wonder a bit. Also, have not seen him mentioned in other Nor Cal clear bra threads in Rennlist that I have read.

I used all three.
all good
all have their strength and weaknesses
btw, some ppl like to see installer take off a lot of parts... some parts like lights are ok but I hate taking parts off. they NEVER go back on right.

I've just used Johnson to do my RS after a couple of recommendations from RL's and couldn't be happier with his quality and at a very reasonable (Californian) price!! His attention to detail is great - he removed headlight washer and front lip and there's no way you can see any cuts around wheel arch vents and naca ducts. He also added some rear wheel arch parts free of charge for me as he said I should get those done. Very happy.

Who is your favorite Bay Area clear bra installer who doesn't remove body parts for installation?

i have used Omega Werks in Pleasanton for both of my GT3's and Vince does amazing work. He's busy and there will be a lead time, but well worth it for the amount of care he takes with each job.

I'm going with these guys for my next car: http://eliteautofilms.com/paint-protection/
Premier in Fremont has nothing until April. Was thinking about using Johnson Lin; price was very reasonable.

After doing some research I landed on Ian at Carbonite Detailing. OCDdetailing, Premier, etc. all had great reviews but pretty pricey and long waits. Ian came recommended from a friend and has been great to work with thus far. Plus he's a one-stop-shop for paint correction, ceramic, and PPF.
I get the car back next week, will post a more detailed review and recommendation once I can judge the work

I used to use Premier, but waiting until April is a non-starter for me.
