55k is US / PCNA sales. World wide total is much more.

GT -> WP
Amg -> Black series
M -> CSL

All the original terms for track cars are becoming just model options.

I have the Manthey set-up on my GT2RS already, and it is a lot better than stock. Car more cohesive and damping in particular is a huge improvement.

KW 3-way competition shocks, upgraded brake lines and pads. They keep PCCB as standard. It doesn’t work with the lift kit, (I don’t have one, otherwise it would have had to be removed). I think they are working on a club sport kit which keeps lift.
I did ask about new roll bars (sway bars in US) but for customer cars they weren’t looking at that. Maybe they have for this record car.

It could still be a bit stiffer, IMO, but really good on road, and they told me that for the customer spec they want to keep it as a very good compromise so car can be driven to and from tracks, not just on them.

Their customer ring spec is slightly different from mine, which is set up for ‘GP’ circuits - I think it has a higher ride height on ring.
no doubt their ring record car does away with all the compromises and makes use of all of their data.
It also has an aero package which I don’t have (yet?), and the CupR which I haven’t tried, but by all accounts are what’s needed to unlock full potential of 2RS. I do have the extended water tank, but haven’t run with it yet, and won’t til next year now.

I really recommend them, and it’s top quality kit, individually tuned to each car and driver (if you take it to factory). Currently much better than an AMG badge or similar, but much more ‘niche’

They have a lot of other great stuff like the extra water tank, wheels, roll bars etc.
KW V3 are budget dampers. MR would have used KW competition 3-way valved and spring'ed to their own requirements.

What's really entertaining is the meltdowns on the Lambo forums.

IDK why, the only lambos that appear time to time are performantes.. Never seen an Aventador properly driven there...

Correct, my bad. Manthey is using KW 3-way, not V3 dampers.

If you have a chance, get at least their suspension alignment. They are an official Porsche Service Center since August on top, so if you have any issues which are covered by warranty, they can work on it as well. Friend of mine recognized some noise from the rear, local shop just said "nothing they can do, it is like it is..", Manthey found the issue, rear axle was to stiff miss aligned, easy fix...

I have the GT3 upgrade with setup for Nordschleife and Spa, so a little bit more hight for Karussell. Alignment from factory is like a lottery, mine has been extra off, so big step up for me in how the car feels and trust to go faster in corners like at Hatzenbachbogen.

Next summer my Spyder will be lucky and get some Manthey Treatment for his third birthday :-)
