I am a homebuilder, so I own a bunch of land and lots. Would love to find someone who would trade land for a CGT!

I guess I don’t find it strange. Both a piece of property. Each party can value what they think their side is worth. If the trade is good for both parties then rock on. I would take a house/land over a car ALL DAY LONG.
