The Hoegh Bangkok has departed Halifax and is on the way to Davisville! It appears that it's route may be sufficiently close to the coast that land-based communications can track it's position, so it can be located by one of the ship-tracking websites without need of a subscription. I like marinetrafficdotcom. From their homepage, click "Vessels" and "All Vessels" at the top of the screen. At the next screen, enter "Hoegh Bangkok" and select the ship as the program presents it's name in the pop-up box. At the next screen, click on the three dots at the right end of the ship information list and then click "Show on Map." When the map appears, drag the ship info box to the left or right so the ship icon can be seen on the map. Apparently, someone missed changing the destination from "CAHAL" to "USDVV." But it appears that the ETA at Davisville is 5:30AM on Tuesday.

The Hoegh Bangkok departed Davisville just before 4PM EDT today, 23 October. Now it's off to Houston and continued tracking for our friends in the southern part of the country, and, for those of us who had our babies offloaded in Davisville, it's.....anticipation........
