And that's not tradition either, because the "real" 935 wheels weren't attached that way originally

That's the outer section. The inner section is what fell off and I don't think those were zip-tied.

918 Spyder, 911 GT2 RS, 911 GT3 RS on the road, 911 RSR, 911 GT3 R, 919 hybrid, 919 Evo on track -- all great track-focused cars of today. Undoubtedly there are more to come in future.

I don't see anything wrong with doing stuff like the Speedster or 935 in addition to that.

N, my SA tells me there soon will be another round of pillow allocations in more pts colours besides white, with cxx stitching, and a numbered tag. He’s taking deposits and the adm will be ridiculous.

I'm holding out for a blue pillow with red and white numbers

My SO tells me there soon will be another round of pillow allocations in more pts colours besides white, with cxx stitching, and outrageus patterns. She’s paying deposits and the adm will be ridiculous.

Would love to see a rendering of the Slantnose front end on a Turbo S or GT2RS, according to Spike's Car Radio we might be seeing a road legal version of the 935. I wonder if it can be made so it complies with road and safety regulations since headlights need to be a certain height. Anyone have any insight?

Hilarious, photoshopped targa 935. Except.. Mercedes actually did make a nonsensical car like this so it's not impossible. It's sad, but not impossible.

Yes but both road cars. 935 is pure track, with Lemans-type overhangs & aero. Therein lies the comparison. 918/cgt different

Gotcha

How about this one (a bit old and not a Targa, but classic):

Bumping this thread...

We just finished up our first customer Porsche 935 design. This is one of the very early design iterations. The design is a modern interpretation of the classic Jaegermeister design, and is authorised by all parties involved! Will be wrapped by same guys doing all the factory wraps.
