How loyal are you to your nearest Porsche dealer?

Nearest dealer to me is Porsche Plano. Went there a few times with my Cayenne and later learned they don’t always do proper maintenance / repairs, over charge on routine items (intentional or incidental), and are consistent ADM even to long time customers.
I drive 30 more minutes to Porsche Grapevine or Dallas (Park Place dealers) now.

Spot on.
They act as they do us a favor in selling us cars. I asked the same SA twice about a couple of TT cabs and he didn't bother to return a call. Well, they were nearly 200k, chump change apparently. Did call me to offer RSs at internet published price.
I recall buying P-cars in 07-08. Quite different. Don't wish those days back, a lot of people got hurt but the stealerships didn't learn.
The market in the Chicago area is horrid. More likely I'll buy the next car over the phone from a FL or CA dealer. Trade in tax credit is the major hurdle.

Zero loyalty to Porsche Austin, but next closest dealer is 1 1/2 to 2 hrs away. The latest move by Porsche Austin was to drop the Porsche Club discount from 15% parts & labor to 10% on labor only up to $400 max, right after they jacked the labor rate to $195 an hour. The buying process for GT cars is highest bidder wins so no reward for loyalty to begin with.

After having worked with several dealers in Texas I deal with grapevine exclusively

Hang on though, Porsche Grapevine is 1) more expensive on the same service (check the cost of goods listed) and 2), they have a propensity to add a ton of unnecessary and unasked for garbage -- window cleaner, etc. The positives are that their online scheduling system does work (unlike Porsche Plano) and it's a massive dealership.
I considered RAC but heard mixed reviews. In the end, no loyalty for me (except for John).

Need something else other than Porsche Austin now. I've given their service department too many chances. I'm over it.

Loyalty? It’s always been a one-way street. We think naively as loyal customers buying multiple cars at MSRP and paying exorbitant service labor rates that would be also “buy” some measure of goodwill- ie GT allocations, warranty repairs, etc.
Imo, the reality is that most dealers are only “loyal” when it serves their interest- ie if GT3 allocations were plentiful, the dealer will offer us a spot- but once ADM enters the picture, more often than not our loyalty goes out the window-

Two closer dealerships to our residence. I literally drive past one of them on my way to my favorite dealership, Porsche of Silver Spring. I’m genuinely pleased with the people at my favorite dealership sales new and used. They also have earned my service business.

Have bought P cars from a few LA dealers. None in LA have any loyalty.
Switched to Porsche Fresno. Have purchased 992TTS and Cayenne coupe GTS.
They are on another level and the owner is truly an enthusiast.
Additionally, he's getting me a 992GT3 in December.
For new cars I will only use them. VERY HIGH RECOMMEND

Used to be very local. Bought many cars and always treated fairly then dealership was sold to different ownership group and they became just another untrustworthy stealership. Luckily I've been able to find other reputable dealers.
