Congrats Kobalt!! Where in Sweden are you? I am going to Rudskogen on Sunday/Monday and Knutstorp Sept 23rd - will you be there? Sorry about you getting hit with the nonsense bonus/malus. My car also took waaay too long to be delivered after being built, but magically we managed to get it registered on June 29th, last working day before the tax kicked in... It wasn't a deal breaker in the big scheme of things but for sure I can think of better things to spend that money. Tires, for example

Good luck with KingKong - drive safe (and hard)

I am happy for you on your Angry Red Kingkong! Actually that was my second choice after Racing Yellow but got approved with my PTS + WP.

I do know you will put Kingkong into great use and looking forward how you will conquer and tame Kingkong.

Drive safe,
GT3RS-Fan1

Thank you all, enjoyed reading all your comments !

The plan now is to drive the car to Nürburg. Switch to iron discs. Do a couple of Touristdays there, then after that do a setup of the car and then more driving.

Looking forward to experience the difference factory setup/Manthey setup.

@slip: Thanks for letting me borrow your brake pads for measurement.
@seb74: Thanks for letting me borrow your PCCB's.
@aeromax: Had the number plate - needed the proper car

@erik_plus8: I'm in the North. I won't go to Rudskogen or Knutstorp. The 13th of September it is straight to the Ring

Hugh congrats on the red beast. Still scared after my right seat ride in your red twin car this spring.
We will be at Mantorp this upcoming weekend.
Drive safe and I wish you a lot of fun laps with the new gt2rs.

Congratulations and enjoy your new toy.

Was it delivered with a carbon steering wheel or do you wait for it?
Ti roll cage?

It is delivered with the "not-so-much-carbon-wheel". The proper one will come later. As will the magnesium rims.

It has got the FIA-approved steel cage.

I like the fact that Porsche gives me an extra set of wheels - I contemplated getting alu wheels anyway so that was a win.
Having a red steering wheel was a concern until it turned out that we get two . One for my dirty, sweaty track driving hands and one for fine dining.
