458 sounds great, gear shift feel is also great.
didn’t like the 488 in terms of same qualities regardless of the fact it is faster and better handling car than 458.

570s is a very capable car and the prices went down so much that it is tempting to buy a one year old 570s for 120-130K euro, which is the price of a 7 year old 458.

although 600LT is just so special. and it’s a pity those are still above 200K euro.

Would have liked and possibly gone for a McLaren. However living 400 miles away from the nearest dealer and given the quality issues. I decided to pass for that very reason. It's a crapshoot if you get one with no problems or one with many. I decided on a Huracan and have been thrilled with it. I've put 7,500 miles on it now and it's been perfect. Unlike my GT3 RS that was in the shop twice for almost a month with an eventual PDK replacement. Both dealers are a 100 miles away from me in Vegas. There's been talk of a McLaren dealer for a while opening in Vegas. I'm sure because of the current situation that has been scuttled for now.

Wow, I didn't realize there isn't a McLaren dealer in Vegas. That is strange isn't it?
I'd second an Italian. Huracan of whatever version is fairly bulletproof. 458 is great model, touch older but nothing wrong with that. Both great and unique options.

Biggest reason I heavily favour the Huracan. I know all makes and models have issues, but obviously the fewer issues the better. Great way to get Italian exposure.

The GT3 is a corner carver and made for the circuit, if I can only one other car, I'd wait for the Tesla Roadster 2 as I'd want the fastest straight line car out there and it can still seat 4.

Hmmnn 458 seems to be the most common pairing for gt3 owners. Been itching for something new and I’ve tried mclaren. Maybe a 458 is the way to go.

How was the Mclaren experience and pairing? Which Mclaren did you get?

570S would be a great GT3 compliment. Once you go past that level of performance, you can only exploit it on a racetrack. And most owners of exotics are either frightening on track, or just tool around and look important.

My vote would be 570S/GT3 and a dedicated track car. So I would add either a Radical, or if I really want to race, get a Spec Miata/SRF or some other spec class vehicle.

The talent is DEEP in those classes, and you will have contact.

I had the 570gt for 6 months. Liked it didn’t love it. I was tempted to try the 720s but my experience in the 570 just wasn’t thrilling enough and the build quality is still a work in progress for them.

I’ve test driven some used 458s and the build quality is still better and you hear the engine and it definitely makes you giddy. Like my RS.

Wow, only 6 months? If you don't mind me asking...why only 6 months? Just didn't enjoy it at all to justify keeping it?

It’s fast and it’s cool. But it doesn’t create the excitement. It’s like a go kart more than a car....
