Additional GT2/GT3 Allocations
So my 2014 MSRP .1 GT3 is almost paid off, and I am contemplating buying a .2 RS. Had Lizard Green @ $25K ADM opportunity but turned it down because not quite my color/spec.
Then I see Rennlister post a .2RS this AM regarding a dealer in MD selling at MSRP to locals only. I am in CA.
Perhaps the law of supply and demand quickly being realized in this GT generation.
So. I am being told by a couple CA dealers last week that extra allocations are soon to be released for the 3RS and 2RS as they always do. Perhaps this may be another reason why dealers are now selling at low ADMs or MSRP. Anyone hear this also?

More 3RS allocations are coming soon. $25k seems to be what one can be had at now. 2RS there were some more for late November and December a few weeks ago, but those are the last 2RS allocations.
In my mind, there are a couple of factors that are unknown which should impact 3RS in the future. One is whether the 2019 build date cars will have the particulate filter in the US. If so, that could make them less desirable (but will also probably drive down the price). The second is whether WP is coming back. Some say no, but I suspect that is perhaps wrong. Same with PTS. Will it open up? The final is how many more are coming and when. No one seems to know when 3RS production will end. I suspect there will be plenty of 3RS available next year.
I have no interest in a 3RS (dealer offered me one for a reasonable ADM, but PDK no way for me) so no dog in the fight I just find it all facinating.

Ah it’s an existing car...interesting. There aren’t that many Porsche dealers here in md just call and find it. You can rule arlington out we both know that.

If it's the car that I'm thinking, it's a VIP customer who has a GT2RS coming in two weeks later and couldn't decide whether to take both, or not. That car was Lizard Green w/WP.

That's what I heard as well. Has buckets so I wasn't interested, but good deal for someone...
