I was told yes when I asked about it.
I used a Porsche certified shop, because I wanted to make sure they got the actual Porsche Platinum Satin paint, and not some other paint that was just color matched. And of course, my wheels already had one coat of paint on them from the factory, so there was never any bare magnesium involved. They just lightly sanded the Aurum Gold all over, cleaned, masked up the mating surfaces, then shot with the Platinum. They assured me it was done just like the factory would have done it, except of course for the fact that I've got Aurum Gold hiding underneath the Platinum. Now, I supposed they could have fed me a load of bologna, but the wheels look great in any case. I inspected them up close, in sunlight, sitting right beside a car that DID have Platinum from the factory, and I couldn't tell any difference.
