Default Safety Cone mark removal?

Have a mark from hitting a cone at Driver's Skills, on the passenger's side of course, and can't remove it all the way. The mark came off the paint no problem. The mark extends onto the rear quarter chip protection film applied at the factory. I was successful lightening it up, but its still there just not as noticeable. Tried a number of products, but can't get it removed all the way. Thinking maybe it's just going to be there until I replace the film, which seems to be yellowing a bit anyways. (another questions I guess is have other's noticed yellowing? I mean this car is only 3 years old with 8K miles and always garaged...it doesn't sit in the sun.)

You might try a dab of gasoline on a rag. Yes, that film will yellow.

Change both sides.....easiest and not that expensive.....makes the car look new again.....I replace mine every 3 years.......and clean around the edges with a Q-tip every car wash to keep the line clean.......

Replace the film, both sides with a larger coverage area. Then get a set of magnetic protectors from Magnegrafik to pop on during autocross - these are very thick and stay on well - no issues at 140 on an airstrip on .1 GT3 or .1 RS at 164 mph on a bit longer strip. Definitely good for an autocross.

Did you try the mothers R3? I have been pleasantlysurprised at the rubber and other track debris that it will remove.

Seafoam bug remover is a safe and effective product. I use it for track rubber marks and brake dust.

Best product and I have tried a bunch.

I have never had good success with the removing those marks or tire rubber black marks completely from the OEM shields. After replacing them twice on the GT3, I replaced them with custom cut film. Much easier to clean any marks including tire rubber from a weekend at the track.

This. You’ll need a little more elbow grease when on PPF than paint but would be surprised if Mother’s 3R doesn’t do the job.

A coating of wax before the event helps a lot too.

Isopropyl alcohol on a microfiber cloth. Works every time; or at least it has for me.

I use the spray and dry Turtle Wax stuff after washing my cars. Once wanted to clean some cone marks from my Racing Yellow GT4 at an event. Nothing in the trailer? Well sure, bit of sunscreen took it right off.

This. IPA can also work for general discoloration of the film as long as it's due to embedded contaminates on the top side (vs. yellowing of glue on the underside)
