Each to their own and give you credit for trying something different.

Since you asked... I wouldn't have a huge problem with them if you didn't have the painted interior bits. The blues don't work together and it creates a pretty busy look IMO.

Holy hell, you guys are harsh!!

That pic of the car in shadow looks good to me. I kinda dig them.

And hey... they're held in by velcro right? I expect you kept the originals and didn't use them to make the new ones so now you can swap back and forth whenever you like. Win win.

Good morning, Weasel. That last photo is the true appearance. When seen in person there is excellent color harmony. I enjoyed doing something different than the endless permutations of tartan (some of which look like flannel pj’s . I’ll post pics of the houndstooth when I swap them over. I am also going to have a set of covers in black perforated leather made up (they should not be as controversial!). All the covers are made exactly as the factory ones. Swapping over takes just ten minutes. Great fun project!

I think it is totally unimportant what any of us think, as long as you like it, that is all that counts.

Wallpaper is making a comeback. This is not good at all - did you consult with anyone like a significant other about the design choice?

That's the only opinion that matters. Enjoy them, life's too short!!

... the interior trim is all Voodoo Blue; the iPhone pics were taken in direct sunlight, washing out the true color of the insert material, and making the console trim appear to be “Miami Blue”. In person the inserts are quite harmonious with the Voodoo Blue. The later photo in indirect lighting is correct appearance of colors.

The 991 LWB seat inserts are velcroed in. I would assume the 997 would be the same. Gently pull on the top of the seatbacks insert, and if it has Velcro, then both cushions are the same as on the 991 LWBs. The passenger seat bottom insert has two small plastic clips that hold the cushion down more firmly for the airbag sensor. You can feel for them as you pull up the Velcro, so as not to break them. They unclip easily.
