The crazier the better in my opinion.

Andrew, the console trim is also Voodoo Blue... I took those first photos with direct sun into the cabin, which caused harsh reflections, and changed the appearance of all the colors. See the last photo of the inserts, it is representative of the color of the fabric. It is interesting to see the polar reactions to a different pattern and color to a seat insert! I plan to have more covers made with different fabrics... keep you posted!

I think this will be remembered as the moment when the "make your own inserts" trend I started, jumped the shark

I think they look cool. It's a Voodoo car. Cool seats. Eminently undo-able for future owner.

Only negative to me is that they remind me of what VW might do in a golf. And I'd ask "Why no painted vents?"

There's no such thing as jumping the shark with your own car and money.

... if creativity and imagination were to be arrested, what a dull world it would be (and we would only have tartan LWB seat inserts) 🙀

Did someone make them as a test? Did you have to pay for that? I am guessing it was a project kinda thing?

I chose the fabric, and had them made. Yes, it was a crazy project, and I was paid handsomely to participate!
