Argh, I guess they have to follow suit with Ferrari, McLaren, and Lambo making heavier drop top versions of their "hardcore" trackable street cars. At least McLaren doesn't add much weight or lose rigidity with their spider LTs due to the carbon tub.

They did an "R" and the "Touring".

Why not a "Speedster" and then a "GT3 Convertible"

Starting to get a bit Stupid but they will sell them all. They see $$$$ signs not brand dilution although there Brains are getting diluted

I don't think so...looks like a finished product. More photos here...

Seems to me this is why the 991.2 GT3 (coupe) production was limited to the 2018 model year...to make room for a higher priced (read: more profitable) variant.

GT3RS-4 Targa.. but I weirdly remember someone already did a special projects car like this recently.

I put nothing past Porsche at this point

IIRC, someone took a regular Targa and put GT3 bumpers on it. Or maybe was it the full R treatment? Cant remember.

Maybe this is the last cry before switching to turbos on GT cars.

It's not perfect but I still think it's kinda cool. They even did Turbo rear quarters.

^ Doesn't look bad to me, actually.

Far from the strangest...since this is a Speedster thread...

I hope not. They are diluting GT cars like the ///M brand. That said they're a for profit company, so its probably true.
