no really new information from that piece, but i would be very interested in this car as a killer long term daily driver. i know a cabrio GT3 kinda goes against the "DNA" of a GT car but it seems like another good way for PAG to make some $$$ if the emission issues aren't a problem.

This idea has VW ownership profit driven model expansion written all over it. Buy a Carrera GTS cab for heaven’s sake and leave the GT3 alone. What’s next, a GT3RS Cabrio?

This will soon be followed by the Macan Spyder, which itself will be followed by the Cayman Cabriolet.
The Cayman Cabriolet will be differentiated from the Boxster that it is by the inclusion of the words 'Cayman Cabriolet' on the back where a lesser Boxster would have the word 'Boxster'
