The performance is about the same after the first day on track, but the Cup2 N2 will last about 50% longer overall.

Yep, I just had a set in our shop yesterday and they looked virtually identical to the Cup2 R picture posted.

Hello guys,I need yours help.
As long as I had MPC2 tires on my GT3RS model 03/2016, everything was fine.
As soon as I replaced Cup2 with Cup2 R for DOT, I have a problem with the inner plastic of the front wheel on the left and right sides. Any advice?
I'm sad about it... look pictures. Is possible that Cup2 R is not for GT3RS model 03/2016 ?

That's perfectly normal and fine. The GT2RS even comes with notes that some minor rubbing in the wheel well liners will happen, and it's normal, and mine has done it exactly like that since day one..,and so has every other GT3RS and GT2RS. Don't give it another thought!!

Keep driving!

You calmed me down a bit, thank you Randy, but I still can't come to terms with it.
So is it caused by the MPSC2R tire? They could also put this note when selling this tire for the P GT3RS if it is caused by it.
To be sure, I'm taking the car today to check the geometry and deflections.

I think the shoulder is just a tad more square on the 265 Cup2R, so at about half lock the wheel gently rubs the liner. I don't really even notice it any more, and my liner looks no different than yours after all this time. Check out your geometry for your piece of mind, but I am pretty certain nothing is wrong. I do understand confidence is everything, but have no worries, based on those photos.
