It is lighter and has less powertrain loss.. From a dig no question pdk, but from a roll I think manual would be as quick or quicker.

I can’t wait for my new RS! That motor in the new improved RS with even more HP is going to be epic.
Totally agree with this. Here's one pulling away from me thru T1 and T2 at Auto Club.

Word from Flacht seems to be that the two are very even from a roll. Apparently the weight advantage and lower friction losses through the manual balances the quicker shifts and extra gear.

In practice it will be very close and depend on the speed range. At most autocrosses I figure the PDK is quicker due to the shorter 2nd, but if it’s a faster course the advantage will shift. Ditto a drag- I could probably choose a roll-on speed that would give either car an advantage.

hilarious! With the proliferation of hp wars it’s made track days annoying at times. Anyone can now be a hero on the straights with a stock 650hp Camaro, but then the corners arrive and they turn into road blocks who won’t let you by.

Again, so excited for my new RS after chasing experienced drivers around in their new GT3.2s. For the most part this year I’ve noticed good drivers are turning in similar laps in 991.1RS vs 991.2 GT3. Anyone else notice similar?

Those Camaro ZL1's are fast in the turns too. They have a ton of grip.

Agreed. ZL1 at our most recent track day was a monster- good driver too.

Agree, in the right experienced driver hands they are insanely quick. I've contemplated getting one as they are such an amazing value for what they can achieve. for less then $70K, what a bargain!
