Default Interior build quality .2

Anyone else have this issue where the interior panels don’t cover the structure members when looking thru the back windows from a slightly lower angle? Both sides of the car seem to fit the exact way.

That’s not right. Bring it to the dealership ASAP.

My last interior quality issue to Porsche took over one year and by the time the part arrived the car was sold. I say drive the car while you can.

That does not look right at all. Complain. These panels typically click into place easily, so it could be an easy fix, but worth looking into why this happened in the first place. Maybe there is something else going on.

On a side note, when I got my M3 many years ago, it had some air vent covers not fully clicked into place. I panicked thinking I got a crashed car or something like then. And then found a note in the car saying that it was searched at the port and it involved removing some interior panels, and I should call them if I find any damage. This was in Canada, though.

Ive had 2 interior build quality issues on my .2

The first one was the adhesive on the rear view mirror came loose and the mirror flapped around every time I hit a bump.

This was fixed under warranty and they had to replace the windshield as they said the mirror was a part of the windshield.

The 2nd issue was the piece where the interior lights and homelink garage door opener / parking sensor button was loose - I suspect this was broken when the dealer's vendor replaced the windshield. The dealer is supposed to fix this under warranty too, but I have not dropped the car off for this yet as it is not urgent.

Clearly the upholstery from the ceiling to the side pillars were worked on once and the rubber molding was not installed back. When did you first noticed this ?

The car came this way new. You can only see if from outside from an angle looking up. Both sides are the same and I can’t push them up. I’ll take it into the dealer, was just curious if anyone has seen this?

My headliner is split on the passenger side above the window. Been waiting 2 months for a replacement.
