What was the best laptime Chris ?
I've seen 2:40 video proof of a winged PDK on dunlops. Driver (not me) says another 2 seconds in the car to 2:38, and I believe him, reputable source ! That is not THAT far off Cup car laptimes ! Very impressive for a stock streetcar.

Furthermore. All the issues I mentioned here on rennlist with my car at Spa before are totally gone after a geometry tune. Totally transformed the car, I love it to bits now !

Car is not stock though, has Dundon-headers.

2:38 on stock tires? Didn't think that would be possible, even 2:40 is incredibly impressive.

The best lap time of the day was 2:40 in my GT3 PDK with passenger...but sadly not me at the wheel..it was
my friend who is also my PI. His best time in the Touring was 2:45 with traffic. Best I could manage on the day was 2:48.

agree. Not sure 2:38 is possible. 2:40 is pushing it.

I have done 2.41 in .1GT3 (RSR Spa rental car, no special prep). Mika911 on here has some video from his RS in front.
So, sub-2.40 should be possible in new car/rubber

I'm having a geo done on my Gt3 PDK soon but am unsure what to do..It seems leaving the toe at stock settings is a given to avoid upsetting the RWS .Could you post what you had done including camber f/r,ride height and Arb settings..

Yes, one of the most fun rides i have ever had was a taxi lap in a Cup car around Spa in under 2:30. Not sure a stock GT3 would get to 2:38 though. it would have fo be perfect weather, no traffic and new tires i think.

I drove today in a SRO Spec GT4 car and was in the :35-36 range depending on fuel load and tire life. Amazing track but WAY faster in my LMP3 last year.

The feeling of slightly missing but still surviving Blanchimont in 6th Gear is almost better than getting it right.

Hadnt thought about it quite like that before....but you know what.... upon reflection.....you are dead right.

I had a big moment at Blanchimont last year which scared the **** out of me...but boy oh boy......the adrenalin immediately after!

Look forward to hearing about your driving back to back impressions. At somewhere like Spa, I would experience etc the winged car to be in its element. Would be great to hear if there was any difference in performance or feel.

Thanks for posting.
there are definitely some high speed sections where you would think that the wing would benefit ...

Definitely. We drove both cars back to back and my PI, who drives for PAG, commented that he felt the difference in two places. Up Eau Rouge/Radillion and around Blanchimont. Both 200+ kph.
