991.2 GT3 6MT Dyno....The proof is in the pudding!

I have a .1 RS and just got my PTS MT .2 GT3. I have put about 125 miles on GT3 and 5400 miles on .1 RS. Haven't got the GT3 above 4500 RPM yet but I can already see some differences. .2 GT3 pulls harder at lower RPM and lower gears. It has a firmer suspension. Steering responsiveness is about equal. The power shifting actually works! The engine note is sublime! I don't know how it will compare at higher RPM yet. Will find out soon!
People rarely do PTS reds, so I’m very interested to know if you have a red PTS color on your .2 GT3.

Interesting to see the power peak at ~7600-8100 rpm, then fall off quickly initially. That seems lower than the 997 RS 4.0’s peak which seemed more like 8100-8400, though as a result torque on the 991 is higher. The higher torque on the 991 makes sense given the lower friction losses of the 991 engine; the roughly equal overall power less so...
This seems consistent with the theory that the 991.2 GT3 RS will basically only get software changes (and maybe filters?) to get its extra 20 hp. Holding the GT3’s torque to 8400 as in the 997 4.0 and you’ll net 20 hp (and make chasing the redline that much more rewarding). Hopefully tuners are already planning their “RS filters and flash” upgrade kits.
What gear were you dynoing in by the way? 4th? I suspect we’ll see significant differences in measured wheel power between 4th and 6th gears.

My PTS red is Rosso Corsa (Ferarri racing red). Very beautiful color. The internet images do not do it any justice.

Interesting results...
I think I read that AP said something about the ram air scoops not being properly utilized on a dynojet, and that the car at speed with proper air flow would actually make more power than on a dyno.

But are you really going to feel feel the real world HP difference between a .2 GT3 and RS ? Suspension and areo will play much bigger part.

Correct - all of the engines are rated without any assistance from ram-air. The contribution of ram-air is a bonus above the rated power and only happens at very high road speeds.
