I am taking delivery of my new RY 18' GT3 on Monday and am struggling with whether to and/or how to stripe it. I've seen the silver with red outline stripes on a members RY .1 which i really like but my car has the black wheels. Does anyone have any examples of RY cars with over the top or side stripes on black wheeled cars? Need to get them done quick before the clear bra goes on.

I thought they are supposed to go over the clear bra so you didn't see any bubbles and you could take them off without removing the wrap. My car has a full wrap. I'm having the stripes put on the side over the clear bra.

Ya man, I would only have the stripes under the bra if they were spec'd from Porsche- otherwise, def on top, or you will see a ridge of air as the wrap changes height from touching paint to touching vinyl.

But f^(k it, I say green stripes on the yellow would look t!ts... What color wheels/ calipers/ headlights did you pick?

The car's RY with black wheels and headlights. Thanks folks for the input on the clear bra/stripe install sequence, that will give me some time to decide on stripes with them going over the bra which I can now get put on quickly. Green stripes would be pretty cool. Something to ponder. There are pics of an RY 911R with the green stripes. Sounds like a Brazilian theme.

Cars with stripes factory installed such as 991 R and CXX stripes will most likely have the clear bra installed on top, unless owners will peel off the original factory stripe work to have an aftermarket stripe installed on top of the clear vinyl.
Not sure why anyone would....
