Default Anyone dealt with Kip Sheward Motorsports or Hennessy Porsche North Atlanta?

Like the title suggests,

I'm looking at 2 cars from dealers above.

Kip Sheward Motorsports in Novi, MI
and Hennessy Porsche in Atlanta.

Has anyone dealt with either one of them before? If so, how was your experience?

Any inputs will be greatly appreciated....

Thank you all!

I was helping my dad find a 991.2 Turbo S cab - Kip Sheward had one.

I called to ask about the car.

He was a HUGE DICK. I was going to make an offer on a car he had, I had not even made an offer and he basically told me, with a huge attitude (like he was angry) -

"If you're not offering me asking price, I'm not taking your offer."

Uh, OK.

I've bought a lot of cars over the years and have dealt with some interesting people - this guy was just an idiot.

I wouldn't buy a car from that guy EVER.

Great to know, I guess I'll steer away from their inventory..... they have a car I'm looking for but their asking is $20k over original sticker and i thought that was too much...
so was going to offer him something but I guess not...

Thank you all!

I've dealt with Hennessy - bought a used 993 sight unseen and the experience/whole process was outstanding

You can try - worse thing that can happen is that he hangs up on you.

He didn't hang up on me because I never even made an offer.

I was going to tell him that I was planning to offer $1 less than asking just because I needed to transport the car.

But, I decided not be a jerk back to him

Oh, and the car is still there - this was 4 months ago.

I did speak to him right before I saw your original response.
He did not hang up on me but I can tell I won't have luck buying car from him.... lol
Even though the car I'm looking at is near-new condition i can't justify spending that much more than sticker for it + shipping so I said I'll try back later and hung up.

He's one of those,

"I KNOW WHAT I HAVE" - like it's the most rare specimen on the planet kind of car guys.

Hennessy is okay as any dealer. They are a Premier dealer for what that is worth. Never had any issues with servicing my cars there or getting good prices on parts. I think they are selling 20-30K over sticker on GT3s.

I am in a continuing conversation with Gene McClure on a 991.2 GT3.

Thus far he has been very conscientious about telling me what he has, getting back to me, and the price they are charging.

My own local dealership does not do that.

Hennessey has a loaded chalk that is CPO'd that I would have been interested in if it did not have 10k of options I did not want.

Bought a car from Hennessey. Smooth as silk, deal was made over phone for their car and my trade. Trade dependent on final inspection. They delivered the car to my home and picked up my trade. Fair deal and great service. I would recommend.
