What are the ADM/price differences between .1 and .2?

Falling behind what? They're cars that can be used on street and track, but not race cars. For the track, they're plenty fast, since it's not racing. For the street, they and their rival cars are all "too fast" anyway, so you just pick the one you enjoy the most (feel, sound, engagement, looks, etc.).

Also, if price wasn't factor, I'd take the GT2RS over the GT3RS.

Underwhelmed with RS, overwhelmed with values, production #'s, and ADM's.

How many US and WW?

New 4.0 motor in .2 RS I think is a bigger step up from the old 4.0 in the .1 RS than the specs would suggest. And as others have stated it WILL be faster than the older car.

Aesthetically I've never been a big fan of 991 RS's (though many are) and to me they are both very similar.

This car nas reached price level that it is no more justified to pay so much for this performance.

Wow. I did not think anyone would respond to this thread after I posted it!. Many good points. I have not owned a .1RS. Only driving experience was beating the snot out of one at PELA. I went in as a street, not track car driver not really knowing what to expect. I came out thinking what an amazing car-loved the ride. I think I would sound like less the bitter bitch if I had an allocation for one

It has the looks of the GT2RS with a more attainable price. That's why I put a deposit on a "lotto" allocation.

.2GT3 4.0 and .1RS 4.0 near identical performance. .2RS will perform like 20hp more and 0 torque better. Stiffer springs not always a plus depending on track and definitely a minus on public roads.

Aesthetics similar except if you go WP. You can always do WP like wrap on .1RS hood and roof if you want that look.

.2 RS will be produced less #'s and will be more desirable with better engine version. RS is an RS, unless it's a .2 RS

Depends on how you define performance. If part of the criterion is being able to reliably do 3+ hours at the track per day, day after day, for more 100 days, what rival cars deliver better performance?

I like the visual bits offered with this .2 3RS that help differentiate it from the .1 3RS like offering the WP and side stripe, naca ducts...

The 991.1 3RS design was a home run IMO, so I thought PAG was smart in doing very minor body design changes compared with 997.1 GT3RS to 997.2 GT3RS

Sure on paper maybe the .2 improvements minor compared with what the .1 already had, but I bet the sum is greater then the parts. At this price point there are a lot of options from competitors to consider, but at the end of the day I think only very few will hold up to owning this new iteration of the classic GT3RS.... The 991 GT cars are just so good.

I never care for the fastest car or most HP or best technology, but what will deliver the emotion and feeling that makes driving a car a pleasure rather than a necessity...

My 0.02
Once again PAG delivers an new version RS that is “better” than it previous model. wow
for the technically cognizant that is a feat to be recognized and appreciated
I am sorry but I don’t understand the belly aching.
Developing industry leading new products year after year is the holy grail many co’s strive for and rarely achieve
