Satin Gold wheels

Ok here's my research so far in trying to find a shade of gold (powder coat) for my Brewster Green spyder. I have searched all the Rennlist threads I could find and couldn't find the answer, hopefully these images will help someone in the future. I was trying to find something like Porsche White Gold (Weissgold). Part of the learning curve is learning that the Porsche color 539 is a paint code, so after ordering the prismatic samples (amazing service by the way) I paid for a local company to make me a spray bomb of the white gold. Here are the images compared to the samples I had ordered (some of which you see in this thread).
Sterling Gold is a good match. I'm glad I ordered the spray bomb because I didn't realize the Porsche White Gold 529 was "that gold"... photos are kind of deceiving.
Spray bomb - worth the trouble

I was trying to match Weiss gold with prismaticpowders as well, and so just did my new wheels with prismatic “Perfomance Gold” (after comparing a bunch of samples and seeing stuff online), which came out to be pretty good imo.

I ordered the Prismatic Powder White Gold sample swatch and it is a good match to my painted wheels in colour code 539. Had that colour been available when I started my project, I would’ve used the powder over painting. If I don’t get any durability with the painted wheels, I’ll re-do them with this colour.

I ended up with Golden Hue from Prismatic powders. I used the color on my new wheels for my Raptor R. All of the prismatic colors I ordered match white gold in some lights but never at every angle and lighting.
golden hue shifts in from silver to golden like the OEM color. Here’s a few pictures for reference

@Sk8erpope I really like the richer gold colour you have chosen. Headed down a similar path swapping out the white gold for the Satin Aurum. Definitely pops better against the black background.

Did you end up going with white gold. Any pics?
