Default Does the sport button on a GT3 change the cooling settings like on a GT4?

Edit: answer is that it does not change coolant. Apparently it only impacts shifting (blip on MT)

I searched. I did not find. On a GT4, if you put it in sport it lowers the engine temps to 190ish as opposed to 220ish.

Is it the same on a GT3? What does a GT3 6MT typically run engine oil and coolant temps?

Engine cooling is completely independent of your sport button. GT4, GT3 or in any GT car.

In the GT4 all it does is it rev-matches. I do not feel any difference in driving characteristics other than that annoying "feature".

Will let others chime in with the latest GT3 implementation.

It seems clear on a GT4 it impacts cooling.

Huh? That is BS......at least on the GT4. 981 and 991.1/2 too. I don't know about the GT3.

I'm pretty sure it is independent in the new GT3. On the streets, mine always runs at around 190-200 F, and the sport is always off.

On 991.1 GT3 cooling is always working like with sport button pressed on non-GT cars or GT4. So it's just one mode for GT3.

Hitting the Sport button on the .2 does not expedite cooling like it does on the GT4

Hitting the Sport/Sport Plus on my 991.1 GTS does lower operating temp from 220+ to 194. Read somewhere it does this by opening a valve to the third radiator.

I will leave it off. If it was increasing cooling, I would have pressed it. No sofas. LWB.

Unrelated, but doesn't the Sport button on a regular Carrera decrease the oil temp?

Only Sport Plus. Not Sport.
