Tetre Rouge and Indianapolis are great fun. I found the Porsche curves underwhelming. Enjoy the event.

Formula E is totally uninteresting to me and LeMans w/o a Porsche upfront battle is Lame-O Id like to see a "Supercar" LeMans 991 GT3RS Vs Ferrari Lambo Audi streetcars, something like anything under 250K in cost and equalize via tires/weight

What about GTE Pro class, or GT4 class?

How does one get passes for the Porsche hospitality tent. I will be there for the classic historic race in three weeks time??

You need to use your wallet pass....
It was $2,500 apiece in 2016.

I inquired about Porsche hospitality some 3 months before the race and was put on a waiting list...never to hear back. No biggie. Was my fourth Le Mans (saw the original pink pig race) and pretty much knew where and what I wanted to see. Rented a nice guesthouse in Mulsanne for a fifth the price.

It’s not a hospitality “tent” - it’s a permanent building next to the Ford Chicane that resembles their facilities in Stuttgart, Atlanta, Los Angeles, etc. There’s a restaurant, a screening room, a bar, an outdoor seating / dining area, a terrace overlooking the Ford Chicane with a view of the front straight, a simulator based on a 991 cup car, a display area for historic race cars (winning 956, 911 GT1, 919), etc.

There is also a temporary private facility on the outside of the Porsche Curves - they run a shuttle 24/7.

Porsche VIP Hospitality was $2,950; I chose to add on a helicopter ride during the race and a six hour Porsche France reception during night qualifying on Thursday. I know roughly half of the factory drivers from IMSA racing in the states so got to catch up with some of them; did a garage tour Thursday night and chatted with Nick and Earl while Patrick drove, saw some of the others here and there.

Porsche Luminaries present included: Wolfgang Porsche, Oliver Blume, Detlev Von Platen, Hurley Haywood, Gijs van Lennep, Derek Bell, Marc Lieb, Mark Webber, etc. FSW and Romain Dumas were also there, briefly.

Gifts included a commemorative keychain (Le Mans 2018 text - not for sale) made out of Nomex from a drivers suit as well as the typical stuff (shirt, water bottle, hat, etc.).

The overall all experience was outstanding, a lifetime highlight and well worth the price.
