The car is fantastic. So is the 997RS. But without that limited edition number on the dash it will never be worth more than the 997 GT2RS.
I would buy one at MSRP but I would assume depreciation pretty soon.

*Disclaimer: I have never driven or sat in a 2RS. And all I will guess is that you need to see/hear the car *in person* to feel the car (and its presence). I know this because I was fortunate enough to see 6-7 of them recently on the track, driving on the street, and parked stationary
IMO do that and you'll understand how special of a car the 2RS is. You will immediately feel/sense that it's no ordinary car and Porsche probably threw everything at the car including the kitchen sink to make it as close to the pinnacle of cars on the market today as possible... Can only imagine it gets only even better when you are a passenger or driver in the car
It's *the* widowmaker... and this version set the Ring production car record.. Legend

But, I do get it owning the hottest production 911 ever made and if I had money to burn and wanted to be the first on my street with one, I guess that is what is driving the price up. There are a lot of people like that out there.

I predict used one will be selling for around MSRP by the end of next year.
