Default White smoke gt3 991.1

This is new to me. I turnned the car on went to grap my phone as i left it in the house. Walked into the grage and i thought something is burning. The whole gatage was covered with white smoke !!!!. I immediately turned the car off. Went to look at where this smoke coming from.
It was shooting out of the exhaust.
well i dunno whats wrong someone maybe can inlight me please. But let me give you brief abiut previous days so you get the whole picture here.

it is 14 gt3 with 22k miles. Two weeks back car kept given me an alert of low oil and i should top up. It comes sometimes and sometimes itdoesnt. So i said better be safe than sorry so went and got mobil 1 oil and top up 2 bottles. 2 ltrs. Then started the car the car says warning yellow mark that oil is above limit but possible to drive. Drove the car around then i had to travel for 5 days. Came back and today i started the beast everything in order started with a yellow message of the oil being above avarage. Got the right temp to drive . Took my kid to his martial art class 10 minute drive. Then on the way back we where in sport pdk and driving home having fun with rpm above 5. 15 minute drive and stopped the car. What happen next was what i explained in the first paragaraph

The oil volume from min to max is 0.8l or 0.2l per division bar. The manual also recommends not to add more than 0.5l at a time, then check level. If you added 2 ltrs, that is too much and it is overfilled. That said occasional smoke on startup is not unusual.

No need to change the oil unless it's due. The manual strongly advises not to overfill. The recommended optimum level is 3 bars. If overfilled the manual says to have the oil quantity corrected at the next opportunity. Also to adapt driving style, whatever that means. So if it were me I'd drain some oil and get the level right. I had the dealer do the first oil change on my 15 GT3. It gave the overfill warning when I picked it up. I refused to accept it until they drained it to the 3 bar level.

The smoking upon start up on the .1 is very common.

Remove excess oil immediately. You may damage cats.

Regardless of oil level, mine still occasionally does this. I have found no rhyme nor reason. This is covered elsewhere as well.

This is an extremely sensitive aspect of the car. I would not drive it until excess oli was removed. You can loosen the oil filter to drain oil out, or take it to the dealer if they are real close. Maybe best to let them sort it out.

Tell me about it. I have done many oil changes in my GT3. I always drive the car to warm it up, then drain the oil by removing all three drain plugs. I also replace the filter. I add 7 quarts/liters, then start it up, check for leaks, and then take an extra quart with me and check the level on the road. Two bars below the top on the gauge are not colored. Half the time this is perfect. The other half I get an overfill warning maybe a month after driving 500 to 1,000 miles. One time I had to add 2 extra quarts to get to this level. WTH? Another time 6 quarts was perfect. WTH? The dealer told me that they start with 5.5 quarts, and then use a special tool to check. I think the next oil change is going to be 6 quarts for me, instead of 7. Then drive it and see.

Crazy gauge. Dipstick please?!

They should just go back to a dipstick. Simple and it works. This is a case of technology causing more headache than it solves.

NEVER idle a car in the garage.

Unless of course death by CO appeals to you.

I mean it's kind of appealing. It's not messy, shouldn't be painful. If you have to go?

If it were my car i would just head down to the dealer and let them sort it out. This way they can get things back to a level you are confident is right.
