easy fellas, dude is giving us an amazing behind the scene look at what happens to our cars. enjoy it for what it is, lets not act like children.

going back to the point. blows my mind Porsche tosses those parts in the bin--I'd love to dumpster dive in their trash!

can someone explain this to me: why does it look like he had a CF roof when he did the video on the factory floor? was this some kind of protective wrapper? looks very convincing that he a CF roof....weird

Part of the CXX on my 991.1 GTS Targa was aluminum trim (vs the standard CF). I asked Exclusive if I could keep the OEM trim and they politely rebuffed me.

Thanks to Shmee for so kindly sharing this video. Really neat to look inside the black box that is Custom Tailoring.

Got to watch the video after work

So do all exclusive options (even non-CXX) get installed at that Exclusive area or are those still added on the regular line and only CXX options installed at the Exclusive area?

Also - the guys working on his car, they looked annoyed....lol

I was just in interested in the chalk cabriolet... Really liked the chalk in that light with the black wheel / silver wheel rim.

Say what you want about his over exuberant delivery, he does a great job showing us some inside looks at Porsche. A very cool car he built...good on him!

Right at the beginning he shows a Turbo S with buckets (euro style), I didn't know you could do that! I guess it's not for North American markets.

Maybe the first video wasn't actually his car??? Could it be another in the same PTS color that worked out better for his schedule to see it going down the line.
Also that first video was weeks before this one. Maybe he just waited to release it but doesn't it seem the Exclusive work would be don't within a day or two of it coming off the line? Who knows.

It's true he does get access to areas us commoners will never gain access to. Call me boring but I really don't see the appeal . I do however like his car and I'm surprised he went for PDK instead of manual. The black roof car does look nice as it brakes from the green.

Tim mentioned that this was going to mainly be a track-focused car. So the PDK makes complete sense. Now whether or not he ever takes the car on the track is another story.
