I think the dealers can chime in here but you have to distinguish between an auction car that's run through by Porsche financial services versus the dealer dumping the car at the auction.... my understanding is that Porsche financial services would be cars that of come up on their lease and are put through auction so everyone can bid, I think GT three demand is so strong that you're not seeing a huge delta between auction selling prices and dealer selling prices

with that being said if it's a Porsche financial services lease turn in, and there's at least a decent condition report, I wouldn't have any problems purchasing this provided a dealer will CPO the car

991.1 GT3 values are still pretty strong across the board. I thought a 2014 GT3 would be in the 120s by now...

I'm looking at a CPO '14 with 10k miles. somewhat modest spec @ 147k msrp.

being offered at 137k.

any of you guys familiar with this car?

I'm about to sell my 2015 White GT3 with 4000 miles, sticker was $155. It's CPO, has expel on front of car and a few other places. Modesta on top of that and wheels. VIN WP0AC2A97FS183124. let me know if you want more info! I've been too lazy to post and take pics!

14 GT3 are the bargain of the century. everyone is afraid of the motor

10 year warranty on that motor is NICE.

They still got a ways to go before they become the "bargain of the century". Resale is quite strong still due to the 10 year warranty.

the 14's are getting cheap though, not quite bargain of the century as you say but getting closer. the warranty helps tremendously though.

Even a pristine GT car with no story will go to auction if the owner defaults on the loan..... The "story" isn't always the car's story....

Great news for those of us with much sought after ‘16s who might be in the market for new track toys!

The "one owner" of the car you're looking at was a corporation out of Georgia. A corporation near Alpharetta, which is close to Atlanta. Ring any bells? Porsche NA probably owned this car. For a long time. Probably a demo at the Porsche Experience Center. Which means the owner never drove it. Just a bunch of random guys who wanted to see what it would do.

Ask for 30% off.
