Since every coin has two sides, let me say that I have had a relationship w/ Braman over 20 years and have purchased and serviced more than a few Porsches through the dealership. I have always been treated extremely well and I value my relationship with them. As far as my GT3 purchases are concerned, we have an MSRP relationship that I and they have built over 20 years. I always give them first refusal when I sell and they always work with me to obtain whatever options I request. My experience is that Porsche is the rate limiting factor, not my dealer.

Having just driven the 991.2 GT3, I will say that if you can get one, you should. It's a very special car that is more refined and powerful than the 991.1 GT3. You can totally daily this one!

I just took delivery of my 991.2 PDK. I paid $15k over msrp, tried negotiating lower but couldn’t. I searched the country for 6 months before finding what I consider nearly the perfect spec (for me). Buckets are a clear must.

My previous car is a 987 cayman s with a 3.6 motor swap and a ton of 997 GT3 parts etc. I’ve had it for 12 years and it feels like an extension of myself. I’ll be putting it up for sale

At first I had a hard time with ADM. but over the life of owning this car I’m fine with it. The way I’ve rationalized it, if the msrp was $15k would I still buy the car? Hell yes! The ADM is basically what the value of the car is at the moment. I’ve not looking back.

That’s a good way to rationalize it, that said I’d be more inclined if it was a configurable allocation than a dealer spec’ed car. Given how hard the former is to come by, I say you did well. Enjoy!

The link to the car/build shows it is a PDK model.

What will happen if Porsche cranks out 4,000 991.2 GT3s - is that too much supply to drive prices down?
