probably will skip , not only the 25 k markup, but probably you are going to lose a lot of money on trade in which will make bigger
drive your car for another 2 years and then pick a gently used .2 GT3

I guess it all depends on what is $25,000 to you, and how important its getting the last NA GT3, as once they are gone, they are gone forever except for used ones which may not be any cheaper once the finality of the situation hits the market. I think the 991.2 GT3, especially manual, and especially the Touring, will actually start going up in value a few months after December 2018, when the last one produced has been delivered (say March or April next year). Then the finality of the situation will hit those who clamor for a NA 9000 rpm manual car, at least to the ones that care about those attributes. I do, but I am lucky to have one already.

You either want it or you don't. There is no substitute car out there. Looks like you are just looking for a reason to not do it. If you really wanted it, you'd make it happen by negotiating the least ADM, most for your trade, call other dealers, etc. At the end of the day its only money. Comes and goes. Forget about the car's value. What's you happiness worth?

That's a pretty dull spec.

Many here hate on these guys, but I'll bet you could get this for $15k and make it your own.

Can definitely find one for 15k over msrp with better spec imo. I paid over msrp and I’m ok with it . I got the car I want and will likely keep. For me it was the perfect spec and exactly how i would of optioned it out . I really don’t want to waste another year without one. So I didn’t care so much about the extra money as much as having the car I wanted now. Can’t tell you too much about how she drives as it’s been a garage Queen so far due to weather . I’ll know more soon . But just looking at it everyday is worth the price of admission to me . Good luck ...

NO buckets no deal!!! GT3's were meant to be driven with buckets to keep your a$$ in place. I had a 991S and my friend has a 991 GTS and we both bought the 991.2 GT3 and there is no comparison. My friend has been running Sebring this winter and says the 2 cars are very different with the GT3 being so much more track oriented as many others have said. They are all GREAT cars, we are lucky to have the choice.

in a year, they'll be offered at MSRP after sitting on the dealer's lot all this time...just like the 991.1 GT3RS

Just wondering, based on your comment, do you have 991 GT3RS's for sale at MSRP in the U.S.? In Canada they are all way over - yes lot's for sale but none that I know of are selling at MSRP or below.

There you go. Good for you.

Glad to see you held your ground. Everything happens for a reason and I agree with you that the new turbo engines are insanely fun/powerful... I think the .2's are great The .2 GT3 is supposed to have more torque on tap at lower RPM but I don't know if that alone is worth the switch from the .1 GT3 opposed to MT if that's your thing.

Your opinion I was the opposite, when shopping for CPO .1 I wanted sofas, not buckets. If I'm spending $130K+ on a car, I am going to drive it daily and until the wheels fall off. With that in mind, I did not want to deal with the buckets getting in and out multiple times a day + couldn't get comfortable in them for my build.

Yep same here. I am fortunate to have a wife that also enjoys my obsession and doing 2,500 road trips. For the 4-5 track days a year the sofas are perfect. LWB were a deal breaker in my hunt. Too each his own.

If you like smaller FI engines, you're all set.

Agreed, especially for Touring where daily driving and comfort should be more importantt than track day body-hugging. I love how my LWB look, but the ingress/egress gets old real fast. Thus my GTS is better if for no other reason than the fact that it does not have LWB. Incidentally, the carbon racing seats in Ferrari and AMG are much easier to get in and out of.
