RS green on the 997 RS

there will be lizard green on the 991.2 RS supposedly.

Yeah, but that car was literally only offered in that green or orange from the beginning. No other color choice available. Matter of fact, I don't think PTS was available for it at the time.

Any pics of lizard green ? Was lizard ever offered by PAG before, or is it a new color ?

Initially, only RS Green, RS Orange, Black and Arctic Silver. Carrara White was added later. No PTS.

It would be highly unlikely, I agree. PAG is in the process of simplifying/consolidating and already thinking toward the next car, not expanding. On the bright side, salmon is still available.

Some interesting stuff going on over at Stuttgart with first the PTS stop order (makes sense given the huge demand of PTS/CXX along with just huge demand of GT cars), and now removing these 3 standard colors from the selection

I wonder, if it's true that all GT3 will be MY2018, that PAG are just advance removing some colors like they do over a couple of MY like with the 991.1 GT3 (the amaranth red, mahogany brown off the top of my head)

I remember when I seen a guy that somehow got all 5 colors and had them stored in a air bubble. Don't remember if he was selling or just showing off.
Bet he wish if he kept them today for resale he would of had all 5 in Green.

Man, between the PTS stop, and now trimming 3 of the standard colors (which IMO was an already somewhat limited color selection), we will be seeing some monochromatic cars coming out. I can see killing Rhodium given current low take rates and vast majority opting for GT Silver, but this essentially kills 2 blues and leaves the sole blue at $4K that ain't even that blue!

As a result I can see potentially an even higher take rate for the premium colors (e.g. ppl moving to Chalk and Miami given the 3 colors nixed) - how 'convenient' those cost 5 times more than the 3 that are temporarily discontinued... Easier logistics (fewer colors offered) and a higher margin - win win for PAG.

The cut back on colors is close to the restart of PTS. Conincidence? I think not.
