Default No SB, GB, or RS????

Just got the following message from my dealer regarding my July build SB GT3 Touring...

Porsche distribution just called and Sapphire Blue, Graphite Blue, and Rhodium Silver are not going to be available on GT3. No paint to sample either.

Very frustrating!

The original build month for my GT3 was October, and I had specified Sapphire Blue Metallic. My dealer told me last week that SBM would not be available after June builds. Fortunately, he was able to get my build date pulled up to May, so I am now able to get SBM plus get the car earlier.

Sounds silly, indeed. Certainly worth pressure testing.

Wow! Well if this is true... and I wonder what they're replacing with, if at all.

I luv my GBM.

And SB also looks really good...here's one for sale:

Maybe they made that up just to get you to agree to swap allocations with a customer that now wanted PTS (New orders available only for August or later allocations)...

Could be, although they first asked me if I had another color choice and wanted to stick with the October build. Hopefully, someone wanting PTS will benefit from the October slot now freed up by moving my build up.

I know it’s unlikely they’d do something like that; I just like to see things from all angles. Good thing you’re getting the car sooner. Congrats.

Yes that would be nice. I am thinking 3 greens would be great since you have zero choice in green except paint to sample.

All 3 of those colors are barely picked according to our tracker...

Wonder if Porsche will add a green hue?

Would really suck to pay for a PTS color and then it to come out as a non-PTS color a few months later for the same model.... Porsche must be conscious of that

Watch them add voodoo, mexico, and signal to the standard color list. So many pissed off people but they could upcharge 5-6k for those 3 and make a boatload of extra cash on those three colors.

Those colors are not available on the T. As cool as it would be, I doubt that there will be replacement colors on the GT3.

Paid the 13k for PTS, Viper Green, highly doubt any new colors offered. When was the last time PAG offered a green hue of any kind on a GT car ?
