I needed the perfect roadster (which would be a 981 Spyder but they were not out yet when I bought my 2014). It's red, Manual, convertible, mid-engine, 2 seater. PSE w/SC. PERFECT!

I also needed a winter beater so I got a 2018 C4. It's a coupe. Very luxurious inside, AWD for the winter + wide butt, 2 additional seats for any emergency and it is the Porsche icon. It's also a manual with PSE/SC.

Both cars have a ton of other options: Bose, Full two tone leather, heated ventilated seats, blah blah blah.....

They are a perfect combo for me. I am living the dream.

Winter beater 2018 Carrera 4

...And I'm sitting here wishing I could find ("Find"...spelled a-f-f-o-r-d) a low mile 914/6.

Oh yeah:
my holy grail would be a 2.7 RSR with a ducktail and a Carrera GT

Really respect what Singer is going but to me it’s not a Porsche.

current line up is GT4 for the track, 991.2 C2S Cab manual for daily use, 993 Targa manual for the weekends/dinner outings, Cayenne Diesel for my wife's daily and GT4 hauler. also, have a beater VW GTI for a "hail car" given Oklahoma spring weather (its actually a blast to drive).

if i had to pick two...i think it would be the GT4 for the track and a GT3 Touring for daily use (hopefully i can land an allocation, but i am doubtful) . a new GT3 for the track would be awesome but i like the idea of having less cash tied up in the track toy. also, i would miss the cabriolet as it is such a great top down car with minimal wind buffeting. i recently traded a 991.1 Targa4S to get back into a 991 cab. i just never fell in love with the AWD or Targa rooftop mechanism. it was however probably the most gorgeous car i have ever owned (bottom pic).

Someday I’d still like to add a 50th Anniv 911 with manual transmission, interior with 18-way seats with houndstooth (OK with either the Oyster/Agate or Black/Silver combo), exterior in either of the two special colors it came in. Would be great if it also had sport suspension, PDCC, and PCCB brakes. Would be super great if it had Burmester stereo.

To me that hat would be about my favorite daily driver if I could have the guts to put real mileage on it.

I suppose the GT3 Touring I have on order is kind of like my approximation of that, but I’m getting LWBs which just look and feel too great not to get on a GT3. Had Porsche made the Touring available optionally with rear seats, I would have gotten sofas and basically built a 911-50 style GT3 Touring.

4 Ways (leather on backs). Manual. SR Delete. RW Delete. Pepita. It's perfect. I'll let you know, as I've got a decision to make when my PTS GT3 Touring arrives.
