Sounds like a bad break-in. The rings didn't settle properly. That is because these engines need to see high rpm right after the factory. Obviously properly warmed-up before and cooled down each time.
Great that Porsche did the right thing. You have to love this brand!

My ex 991 GT3 had a big oil consumption too. A bit less but i never went to the track without my 0W40 bottle.
I believed this was normal, so never went to complain to the dealer...

Enough track days, and you'll never really need an oil change. A filter maybe, but not oil ...

Could be the cold Grant, but it has done it throughout the two years i have owned it. I think the system sucks tbh. The TPMS is a close second on the suck list.
