+1

Anything else is worthless as you described: different camera, different lighting, etc, etc, etc.

Which one of these is Gulf Blue?
How close is Gulf blue to the color of the sky on a beautiful sunny day?

^^^Haha over the past few weeks I just about viewed every picture of Gulf Blue found online. These are both Gulf Blue. It’s the lighting. Variations are even more extreme.

Sometimes it looks washed out. Sometimes (most of the time) it’s a stronger blue. Here’s a video (actually the video won’t post, how?) and a couple pics I shot of a Gulf Blue Macan a few weeks ago at Paul Miller in NJ.

I absolutely adore the color, but ultimately passed because it’s a touch too baby blue for my taste. Extraordinary shade nonetheless. Perfection on smaller 911s from the past, and with some subtle white and orange striping. Meissen might be the best shade of blue ever, but I can’t find a car to view it on.

i m actually looking for a light blue color. Something close the sky blue on a sunny day. I wish i could see one in real life.

Best, rachud

Somewhat ironic that the gulf blue PTS on the Macan runs less than on a GT3, despite more than twice the coverage area...

Here is a good link to some Porsche colors of past and present (click on color choice at the top and link will generate various options): http://www.elferclassic.de/technik/f...plack-blau.php

We have CR Macan so I see it everyday and you are not going to like my answer- both picture represent it well to my eye.

Here's two of the Macan in sun and not taken with an iPhone, color shift on these photos seem to make it look brighter than those above, but similar impact under different lighting conditions, the shade tends to bring out more purple/black overtones:
