I fully agree. I already took depreciation on the TT and was hoping to at least match its rate of depreciation due to the GT cars holding value better.

I also posted this because dealers are still asking for $25k over. So I would figure depreciation is not that prevelant, as well as most GT car owners keep their cars vs. the run of the mill P cars that get leased and then go up for sale.

ADM will be pretty much lost 100% after you put 1K miles on.

Not uncommon having low mileage GT cars with 3 owners. Most do not get kept over 2 yrs or even less.

Who knows what the market will be then. .2 RS will be out for a while then and 992 on the horizon.

If 30% will give you a nervous breakdown, I would avoid. Could be the case easily. These higher MSRP .2 ones will take harder hits but will help the .1 resales.

Seriously. If you would've done what you just proposed you would've had your answer. Hint: you are not the first that comes in late with this questions but thinks yours is the one that counts.

You cant base it on the 991.1 Depreciation, as that was just going into the second half of the 991 cycle with the 991.2.
The depreciation will likely be much higher (initially) going into an all new (everybody wants one) 992 GT3
Just my humble opinion ....................

Not a value person but 3 years and 35% still isnt bad compared to other vehicles in my opinion. Aston Martin is 35% day one!

Drive and enjoy. Crystal ball doesn’t see that far out

it'll hold value for two to three years and then drop 30% when the new model comes out....

I guess I have been naive, but now I get it. Sick of people asking about values. Buy the frinkin car and enjoy it. This car is made for that. If you’re buying it because it will hold value, please don’t.

Take your own advice and familiarize yourself with the "Search" function. You will find tons of threads dedicated to this very question!! Not trying to be rude but this question has been asked many times in multiple different ways, with answers/responses as good then as they are now. My point is that, other "like minded people" have shared their opinions on this question...

I’ve never seen a car community or car forum so obsessed with depreciation and resale value.

PTS is now widely available so you might get back your $13k (or not) but I don’t see a premium once it’s clear how many are out there.
