We need a subforum. No offense to the OP, but this is what the GT board is becoming. Check this BS out.

I see the price of PTS as an emotional investment. If I chose to pay for my personal perfect color on a car then I would keep it for a very long time. Every color of car I've had to date was a subjective compromise of some sort.

good on you! That is the way it should be and what I tried to do but my color did not get approved in time. Unfortunately, PTS was flipper fodder, thankfully now the PTS flood gates are open people can get the colors they want and not to flip. Other than sechsgang (who is local although we have never met) ordering the same spec car (non-PTS touring in black) as me, I doubt I will see my car’s doppelgänger on the road. At least if I see it I will know who it is. Lol.

- Drive it 20,000 miles the first year = Depreciate $30,000.
- Dive it another 20,000 the second year. Depreciate another $20,000.
- Sell it.
- Being able to tell yourself you truly enjoyed the car = Priceless
- Buy the next one.

Best advice is don't buy it if you're worried about depreciation....

I will second who cares. I thought we bought these cars because they are great cars. Price scared guys should buy a pre-owned '17 NSX or R8 as they offer at this point already built in depreciation when you buy one at 20-30% off MSRP when they have less than 500 miles. based on Barrett-Jackson a good VW bus is an excellent cost value as well.

No way, keep it until it rusts out or you die.
