Where you belong…
Another active weekend in Michigan with HPDE in Waterford Hills on Saturday followed by the 65th anniversary of the SEM PCA club on Sunday. I just love it and just want to be driven on roads and tracks.

@900fc Very nice! What did you think of the Sofas on a track? You are not sliding all around the cabin without bucket seats?
My two cents:
- If I was mainly planning to track or track only, I would take bucket seats as it is lighter and better to use 6 points harness. The harness is what really hold you to the seat
- For mix road and track days, I find the 18 ways better to get in/out, more comfortable on longer ride (over 300mi). I also feel 18-ways fit well the GT3 Touring spirit.
After it is personal preferences, just don’t get all the haters of 18-ways in a GT3. Both LWB and 18-way have their space and purpose.

First time at Laguna Seca this weekend (other than a few borrowed laps in my friend’s car in 1998). Car did great but I managed to delaminate a tire along the way. Thankfully, I had another mounted set of tires/wheels at home that I was able to run home and swap.

And thanks for the comment on the wheels - they actually came in black with the car but I had them refinished in silver and replaced the CF (black) wing mirror caps to tone down the look of the car. I am not a fan of black wheels personally.

Still looking for a white or chalk touring with decent miles (15-20k). Hennessy has a chalk car but with low miles. Asking 237k.

There's something about the curves on the Touring that just works.

I assume you know you're looking for a fairly rare car. Less than 700 Tourings stateside and you're looking for a small subset of that in only Chalk or White. Seems people tend to hold onto the 991.2 Tourings more than other GT models, but that could just be my own perception. Not sure how long you've been searching for but I was looking for roughly the same thing as you and it took me about a year and a half of looking to find the right combination of spec and price. Best of luck tho. It's worth every single penny!

Don't want to turn this into a for sale thread, as there's already a very popular one for that purpose, but I purchased damn near the identical car to that last September, for $35k less than that, with the same mileage. The market hasn't correct much since then, but it's corrected at least a little. They definitely have that listed high and are hoping for a home run. Throw them an offer in the low $200s and see if they bite. That's a fair offer on that car currently. Assuming of course that's in your budget. You didn't define a budget and only mentioned a mileage range, so 🤷🏻♂️.

215k is above budget, but would do it because of the low miles and cpo. I am definitely looking for the right 'spec' because I see it as my 'will die with this car' car. Found one off market with correct miles, steel brakes and 18s for just under 200k. Good car but doesn't feel 'right' for some reason. I think that reason is I want buckets and/or pccb's. Still chewing on it however. There isn't a big market for these higher mileage cars; under 200k feels ok, but BaT sales show it might be worth closer to 190k.
