Jimmy, I don't believe this to be the case. There are many possibilities, but I've been told that Porsche allocated these cars to them already built. I may be gullible but three different dealers gave me the same story. Other theory is VIPs not taking delivery because they were falsely promised RSs for GT3 orders.

This mix will change now that pts has been closed but at one time, pts was the 2nd most popular color behind chalk! That could also explain a little.

LOL can't complain. GT Silver used to a premium color back in the day but for reason got demoted to "regular" metallic color now. Happy it's only $700~.

Yep, and it wasn't long ago that some were saying the PTS price hike would cut down on demand.

Agreed! PTS would be amazing but these really are platinum plated problems to have. I’m happy with my choice and that my GM went to bat to make my second choice happen when PTS fell through. Ultimately if it opens again or not I won’t care - i know I’ll be so in love with this car and feel fortunate to be able to buy one (for many reasons) it won’t matter to me.

I can say first hand that this is the case...was offered PTS 3 from the dealer with ADM that they ordered.
