I wonder if someone is confusing the limited run 911 convertible (the Speedster?) with the Spyder?

I was told the GT4 was getting the 3.0 turbo, I can't imagine the Spyder getting the 4.0 and the GT4 not.

Wishful thinking. You forgot the main reason they switched all their models (except GT) to FI. Emissions. They can't go back NA even if they wanted. We should be lucky if GT stays NA.

spot on .....at some point GT cars will have to evolve can’t get too much more power out of the flat 6 ....525 as expected for the next RS is pushing the limits if power is the premise. Other option is to lose weight 100lbs or so which will be a task and expensive more carbon.

I thought I heard AP say they can push 600 on the new 4L?

This would be awesome but I‘d be surprised. I can see 3.8 again or 3.0T. It would be smart to make the first GT car to switch forced induction in the GT4 to gauge customer reaction to it before doing it to the GT3 which is more valuable to the company’s image.

Funny that we will probably buy whatever they sell anyway

Nope, I'm not buying an turbo and/or hybrid power plan GT car...as soon as they stop building NA cars I'm done buying the car. I'm sure I'm not alone when it comes to that sediment either.

If this is true I suspect it's an attempt to spur/ignite sales of the 718...from what I hear it's been lackluster! There's nothing like the hint of a GT engine in a lightweight convertible to get the Porsche community excited...Porsche A.G. we see you at it again!!

We are all addicts here, but it is not necessary to buy a new car every 3 years.

If Porsche GT cars go turbo with the 992, I then will stick with my 991.2 GT3 for 15-20 years. The engine is rated for 300,000 kilometers, and there are other things I can buy instead of a new Porsche every few years.

I like how you think, but where did you get the 300km from?

I hope you’re right and honestly any German car that can’t get than many miles is a POS. That said, I bet there won’t be more than 1-2 in the world that EVER see that many miles lol hope so though.
