So that's just a center Bypass or more involved modification? That sounds awesome. I wonder how these will sound on the manuals. Part of the allure for me on these exhaust sounds are the quick PDK shifts. I have an allocation and will be getting a manual and definitely in the market for an exhaust mod. Thanks.

Why does the GT3 not make them?... and do any of these aftermarket exhausts bring these gurgles and pops into the picture?.. because if so I’ll stay stock wth GT3. Thanks for any clarification.
It is entirely from the ECU. It dumps fuel to create artificial backfires.

Aftermarket exhaust will not introduce them.

If you are referring to the GMG equipped car, that is just the GMG Center Section unit.

Put on a awe switch path exhaust with black tips on my 18 gt3, and its night and day different. It came off a 16 gt3rs. Factory sound isn't bad, but this is a whole different level There's also a huge weight difference. Its sounds GREAT and feels like it has more power as well!

Look at this IPE GT3 overwhelm the Lambo and 458, even tho they are stock. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TOdd3HisTOQ&t=127s

End of the day, Ferrari will sound better stock, and when you fully open up both cars, each has their own character where I want both but not either or.
That sounds really good!

IPE and Dundon are the finalists.

For a Rear Bypass there are several choices previously mentioned and you will not go wrong with either

I will tell you that the .2 GT3 is loud as heck. I just brought mine home yesterday afternoon and I have an RSS X-pipe bypass on mine. No way I would want some thing louder and I am a person who loves loud exhausts as long they still sound good

I do not think one will need anything more than a Rear bypass on these cars. No way would I need the car to be faster so Headers would not be my route like it was on my GT4
this is really helpful advice. Thank you

I didn’t realise headers made the sound so much louder. Drone is the real killer for me as many have said the Dundon full system has no drone. Extra power doesn’t really matter to me.

i haven’t received the IPE pricing yet to compare with Dundon.

^My experience with Rear Bypasses, which I do endorse, is it will certainly make the exhaust louder with flaps open when you get on her but it will not necessarily transform the sound. Just make sure you have the correct expectation. The Sharkey Bypass will take the volume from 7 to 9 but will not change the sound by that noticeable of a difference

Jimmy,

Thank you you for the help so far. I am not very knowledgable on this issue. Is the IPE system on the vids many people have posted here only rear bypasses? They sound amazing!

SharkWerks... Excellent choice! Great folks to work with as well.
Did you included their large diameter tips to complete the sound and look?

No- full exhaust(including headers) from my understanding
